[Opinions] Liselotte?
Replies
I used to really like Liselotte, particularly when I first got into names in high school. Then I said it aloud once time and heard it as "Lease a lot" and couldn't shake the association. :-(
It's much nicer in German / Nordic than it is in English.

I like it a lot, it’s fun and springy. I like the nickname Lilo.
I like it, whereas it's quite an old lady name.
It's the name of my mother-in-law with original spelling Lieselotte and the usual NN Lilo. (Lee-lo)

Quite a posh name by Dutch standards. I like it well enough but don't really care for Lottie.
I like it in a German context, but not anywhere else; it seems likely that people might make it three syllables or even two.
