My niece is named Lola; she’ll be 7 tomorrow.

It’s quite common in the UK, definitely usable.

I guess I question if it's usable in the US because I don't meet any kids named Lola. I don't know if that's because of The Kinks song, or Lola Bunny, or whatever pop culture connection there is.

I know there must be American Lolas, but where I come from it's not common.
