[Opinions] Cody
What are your opinions on the name Cody? I view it as unisex, personally (with more of a masculine lean). I used to really despise this name because I knew so many. Now, I’m getting a soft spot for it. It’s kind of refreshing to hear, in a way. What are your views on the name Cody?Formerly, wheelbarrow4

I've no idea where the name Cody for girls came from, but I've encountered multiple girls with this name and I think it's... blech. For boys, I think it's time has passed.

Cant see it on anything but a boy, and never much liked it on them. It has zero maturity, no matter how old the guy, if the name is Cody you expect an 8 year old. I know a hulking emt called Cody and I just cant justify the name and the guy. Call him by his surname instead.

It comes straight from the Central Casting Brat Bureau. Pudgy, grubby-faced little boy with a real mess around his nose and food stains on his shirt, whining and crying and grabbing other kids' toys and snacks and his mother won't do anything except whine out in a nasal midwestern tone that can almost shatter glass "Cooooooh-deeee! Pleeeeze?!"
Grows up into a sullen, slow-witted guy who is either pudgy or weedy-looking who wrecks every car he ever owns, has paternity suits against him despite his stupidity and ugliness, and thinks he's a real stud muffin.

I've genuinely never met one, and my only impression of it is that TV show with Zack and Cody.I think it sounds permanently youthful and boyish.

I like it. But in my humble opinion, I think it's strictly masculine.
