[Opinions] WDYTO Castle?
I don’t know why but Castle as a name popped into my head. Usable? Girl or boy? I’m thinking boy. I’m not seriously going to use this name, but it’s just a thought.

I’m not a fan of this name, personally.

Dreadful. Non-human and silly, like something a minor celebrity would choose in order to be noticed. Better than Bungalow, or indeed Rook, but still impossible - I hope!

I love the sound of the word and think it could definitely make the transition to first name usage, given the similarity to other names that start with Cas- and the positive meaning. Could be used for a girl or boy, but my first thought is for a boy.

As a first name... nope, it doesn't do it.

Unusable. Castle is the tv show character's pen name, not even his real name, they even published a series of (bad) mysteries under the name Richard Castle as a tie in. The only other association are large piles of stone designed for war. It would make a dreadful given name, certainly extra ghastly on a girl.

I’d prefer it on a girl.
Honestly, it sort of has a ring to it but I would never use it. Maybe on a character but not for a person.
I can sort of kind of see the appeal though. I could see it making the bottom 500.
It’s also kinda stupid though. Reminds me of the name Stone.
Stone was also a jerk. Easily one of the worst people I have ever met.

There was a TV show "Castle" in which the main character was called Castle. It's surnamey and could be shortened to Cas. Seems relatively harmless, but I don't think it's a top tier word name.

I'm glad you're not going to actually use it... this is dreadful, I think.
