You know what? I’m kind of on the fence about this name. I like it, but I also don’t. When I first saw it, I said…”Gwenore? Nah. That name sounds a bit weird and strange”. So, I started to type out, “I’m not a fan of Gwenore”. Then, it hit me; I actually kind of like this name! Gwenore is a very unique sounding name. Until I saw this post, I had never heard of it. Gwenore reminds me of a fantasy character; I think that’s cool. It’s also similar to one of my favorite names: Lenore. If you shorten it to Gwen, it could be mistaken for Gwendolyn. However, it only adds to the charm when you say, “Nope, it’s Gwenore”. So, hmm…I’m intrigued! Maybe I’ll like this name more later. Lol.

Not a fan.Love lots of names beginning with a Gwen- sound - Gwendolen / Gwendolyn, Guinevere, Gwenda, etc. - but this... not so much.

Ugly, Guinevere is better.

Sounds like a fun fantasy name, like a character from A Song of Ice and Fire! In real life, it depends if the 'e' is pronounced in the French way, like Gwenorr or in the German way, like Gwenor-a. I'd prefer it pronounced Gwenora. I like Guinevere more but I like it more than Gwendolyn.

I don't like it. I much prefer Guinevere, Jennifer, Gwyneth, and Gwendolyn to it. Gwenore sounds like snore.

Seems like a mashup of Gwendolen and Lenore. Not really appealing, like a clunkier, frumpier version of Guinevere. Guinevere and Gwendolen are nicer imo.
