I can understand why they changed their babies' name (e.g. Chole to Chloe, Issac to Isaac) because they misspelled it.
Here are several morals of the story that I got:
1. Don't fall for modern naming trends.
2. Why would you misspell your own child's name? (e.g. Taytum, Alyzzabyth, Emahleeigh)
3. Think and plan before naming your child.

I think Chole was an unintended mistake, maybe it's a typo, like you said.
