[Opinions] Elizabet
What do you guys think of the name Elizabet? No, not Elizabeth; Just simply Elizabet. Incomplete? Bad?This name has been on my mind a lot lately for some reason. I like Elizabeth, and Elizabet seems nice to me as well. So does Elisabeth. I’m not crazy about any of them but I like the thought of using it hypothetically.

I love this name. I disagree with the people who think it is incomplete or bad. It makes me think of the Kazakh figure skater Elizabet Tursynbaeva (she pronounces it eh-LEE-zah-bette ter-sin-BYE-vah).

I thought it was a typo. I think Elizabeth is a beautiful name and am on-board with Elisabeth, too. Elizabet would seem out of place in my context.

Honestly, I would think it’s a typo.

I suppose it sounds like the German Elisabeth? Which probably wouldn't be given the correct German pronunciation outside Germany. I like the look of Elisabeth and Elizabeth: they sound different but look authentic. Elizabet does not look authentic.

Although this spelling is used in my country, it doesn't amuse me. I prefer Elisabet, which is the Spanish standard form, and Elisabeth too.

In my opinion, no names are incomplete, even if they are shortened from another name. I prefer Elizabeth, the sound of Elizabet just sounds weird to me. Elizabeth is a better option in my opinion!

I prefer Lisabet, Lizabet, Liesbet, etc. They feel more complete to me and less stunted or like a typo. And I second the suggestion of Elisabetta as a better way to go too.

It’s pretty but there would be a lot of confusion. I like the suggestion of Elisabetta.

I prefer Elisabetta as an alt.

This is another name that looks and sounds like a mistake. Like a typo was made and the last letter wasn't added, or like a funny accent where they cut the ends off words or the th sound doesn't exist.
