I naturally say day-uh. I like it a lot. Die-uh sounds sad, though.

I agree, I don't like like Die-uh either.

If it's DIE-a, I prefer Dinah.
If it's DAY-a, I prefer Daisy.

I know a Daya and she prn her name dah-ya (like the beginning of Darla and the end of Freya). The name suits her, but it isn't my style.
