There was a high school student in my school district’s newsletter named Colfax. I thought it was interesting, but I don’t think I would use it. Thoughts?

Not crazy about it. Fairfax seems in a similar vein but preferable to me, but probably only as a middle name.

I'm not fond of the 'fax' part, and the whole name kinda sounds like one saying, "Cold facts" Like, "Here are some Cold Hard facts for you." Cole would have been FAR better, or something like 'Colton Fox' perhaps.

It doesn't really sound like a person name to me. I'm not fond of it.
