[Opinions] For me, it's about the same as naming a kid Watusi...
I hear "Shimmy Shimmy Quarter Turn," "I Wish I Could Shimmy Like My Sister Kate," "Shimmy Shimmy Cocoa Pop," etc. It's not a name--it's a dance.Spelled differently--like, say, Shimi, perhaps, though that looks like SHEE-mee--I could acccept it. Or, if it was a nickname that evolved naturally, I could accept it--sort of like Duckie, you know? But as a planned thing? It feelse extremely contrived.I think I like Shimon best of the three.Array
