What do you think of Armas?
It is one of my favorite Finnish names. I find it simple yet gallant and it has a beautiful meaning, "beloved" (the word "armas" is nowadays considered archaic in Finnish language and the more modern word is "rakas" which isn't used as a name). I think it also works internationally as it has a very straightforward spelling and pronunciation (AHR-mahs).
Even though I love this name, I won't be offended if you don't like it. So, you can be as honest as you like in your comments

I don't actually like the name because in spanish the word "armas" means weapons. I would like the name without this associaton, though.
