I just started watching The Midnight Club so this name is on my mind too! I like Ilona much more, but Ilonka is still a very interesting name.

The name Shasta I think is interesting too, but not as appealing as Ilonka imo.

I wonder if Czechs or Hungarians use this diminutive as a full name. It's also a diminutive of Ilona in Polish and the thought of it as a legal name makes me shudder. Just terrible, inexcusable, it's so incredibly infantalising.
