[Opinions] Loretta
What do you think of Loretta? Is it pretty, or clunky? Old-fashioned? None of these things? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Awful. Sounds judgemental

I highly associate this name with Loretta Lynn. I think it’s a pretty name, nonetheless.

It has a nice sound to it; old-fashioned yet pretty, but nothing that I would use. Very southern as well, but maybe that's because of the famous country singer, Loretta Lynn who passed away earlier this month. I've never personally been a fan, but I know many of my past relatives were big into her music. I associate the name strongly with her.

Loretta is my mom's official name.I can't decide if I prefer Lauretta or not. I like that it's closer to Laurie and Lauren but wonder if it seems affected. Loretta feels more classic to me, even if technically, it's not. And sometimes I prefer Coretta, which tends to seem brighter to me (and I like Cora more than Laura or Lora).I like it in combos sometimes, but I can't remember any previous favs right now. It seems hard to pair in a way I like.Aida Lauretta
Loretta Vashti
Eve Loretta
Lauretta Rhiannon
Loretta Jessica
Lauretta Ophelia
Loretta BluebirdI feel like it's similar to Ursula in a way but more of a muted 70s earth tone palette, rather than moody purples. It's reminding me of Maxine and Anita randomly, as well.

I think it will rise in popularity now that Loretta Lynn has passed away. I think the name is refreshing and ready for a comeback.

Good for vintage rock addicts: Loretta, are you better, are you well, well, well? And then there's sweet Loretta Martin, who thought she was a woman but she was another man. Go home, Loretta. In real life, however, I find it dated and vastly prefer timeless Laura.

I've always really liked it. I think it has a coal-miner's-daughter kind of unpretentious elegance. And I think it's REALLY PRETTY

Nice enough. Moderately pretty, but quite retro.

I think it’s a kinda clunky and old-fashioned but it does kind of have a pretty sound to it. I would prefer Lorena. On that note, Etta is a cute nickname.

I don't like Loretta, I think it's old fashioned. I like Laura, Lauren and Laurel, though, so I might not like it because of the -etta part.

It's definitely old-fashioned, as etta names are in general. Not really clunky, it's light and brisk. I don't like it, because, well, etta. But it's not terrible.
