[Opinions] Twyla Leontine
Found this combo on Nameberry.• What do you think about the names, individually and together?
• Do you prefer the Twyla or Twila spelling?
• Do you prefer the Leontine or Leontyne spelling?
• What would you name a brother and sister to Twyla Leontine?I like Twyla and Leontine very much. Twyla sounds fairy-like and reminds me of tulle. I'd like Leontine more spelt Léontine, but regardless of spelling, it's operatic, strong, and shimmering.I'd name a brother and sister Felix Aurélien and Sibyl Delphine. 🕊️❣️🌻💌🌻❣️🕊️masculine list: https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/191050/124079

The la-le is kinda sticky but I can definitely appreciate the two names though. Twyla is pretty and the spelling isn’t god awful and with Leontine which you don’t hear to often as a first or middle name makes it cute, vintage, and awesome. It has strength and poise.Oh snap, forgot to answer the questions!• What do you think about the names, individually and together?
- See above.
• Do you prefer the Twyla or Twila spelling?
- I guess Twila realistically but Twyla has some quirk to it.
• Do you prefer the Leontine or Leontyne spelling?
- Leontine for sure. Even better if Léontine.
• What would you name a brother and sister to Twyla Leontine?
- A brother, Sylas Augustine.

What do you think about the names, individually and together?✓They stand out somehow, I've never given them both much thought.
Twyla reminds me of willows, English countryside, and Leontine about Parisian actress from 1900s.
They seem a bit mismatched.• Do you prefer the Twyla or Twila spelling?

Agree with the -la -le sounds being awkward. I like Twyla a lot, it reminds me of ballet.Twyla, Tristan and Clara.Twyla, Damien and Noemi.

I like Twyla (prefer Twila spelling), it’s beautiful in a quirky way. I prefer the Leontine spelling, but I’m not really a fan of the name. It’s a little sterile and clunky. I prefer something like Leona. The combo is ok.I would name a brother and sister Faro & Aster? Not sure about middle names.

I wouldn't say I like either of them separately, but together they sound mystical and fairy-like in a very pleasing way. I prefer Twyla to Twila and Leontine to Leontyne.Twyla Leontine

I love them individually but I think the flow is off with them together. The la-le sounds a bit off. Funny enough, I still think the same if they were switched around too. Tine-twa. Too much T and L for a combo. Prefer Twyla, Twila looks more incomplete. Leontine for sure for me though. I knew a Twyla with siblings named: Velvet, Janet & I believe a Robert was the brother. They were elderly.
