[Opinions] Tessa
I love the name Tessa.
I know that it is short for Theresa but do you think it can stand on its own?
Also, as I don't particularly like the name Theresa, are there any other names for which Tessa could be a nickname?
Thanks

Many thanks for all your responses.
I hadn't thought of Contessa before - it's an interesting variation - but I'm so pleased that so many of you think that Tessa can stand on its own.

Tessa is fine on its own. I prefer it over Theresa.
LOVE Tessa. My sister, Anna, was almost named that.

Tessa can definitely be a name on its own. I can't think of any names it could be short for that aren't related to Theresa (Terese, etc.)
