I know so many different animals named this that it's become as pet-like as Fido! As a human name it doesn't do much for me, it's too cold and pointy. Loki Nathaniel is handsome though.

Unsuitable for humans. I've no idea what Marvel have done to the character, but in mythology he is no role model, and as a name Loki is too close for comfort to Luke, Lucas etc.

I like it. I have no problems about the association with the marvel character. It can still work as a pet name, unsure on a human.

I like it, for obvious and unsurprising reasons. I like the character. It's in the top 500 here so apparently people are using it. I honestly think in sound it's cute and boyish, which I love in a name.
