I would use Clare, even if I didn't have to.
Claire is French and I'm not. Clara is OK in German but once again that's not me. Clarice and Clarissa are frillied up unnecessarily; Clarice seems the most dated of them all, at least where I am.

I think perhaps we have talked about this before but Anneza do you think that we should only use names of our place of origin?

Do what you like. I don't like using names from outside my tradition, but plenty of people do it every day and why not? If you ask for my opinion, that is what you get: not me setting myself up as Lawgiver to the Universe.
