[Opinions] Petaluma
I haven't been able to expel Petaluma from my thoughts. I know it doesn't have any history as a personal name, but I love the combination of sounds and think it could suit a human. (Note: I am not, in fact, naming a human.) Am I crazy, or do you like it, too? Some combos:Petaluma Iris
Petaluma Inez
Petaluma Irene
Petaluma Ingrid
Petaluma Frances
Petaluma Enid
Petaluma Violet
Petaluma Agnes
Petaluma Nancy
Petaluma Clare
Petaluma Sibyl
Petaluma Alice
Petaluma Phoebe
Petaluma Hazel
Petaluma Cheryl
Petaluma Daphne
Petaluma Daisy
Petaluma Edith
Petaluma Janet

Oh it makes me think of a planetary name, sci fi. It definitely has a very interesting sound. I like it.

I love it! It rolls of the tongue so well, and it gives me flower/night/soft light vibes. Petaluma Inez is such a cool combo.

Petaluma is rigid and jazzy. I like the sound actually, reminds me of Perpetua.Petaluma Daisy is real nice.

Wow, I love it! I need to look up what it is. Oh, a city! Yes, it's great. It's like petal + luminous. What a fun collection of sounds.Petaluma Cheryl is so unexpected, I'm fond of that one. Lots of personality. I've been getting more into more "grounded" names like Cheryl lately and I'm enjoying that journey. Petaluma Phoebe is just the most fun. This isn't on your list but I like the idea of Petaluma Judith, too. Maybe too sing-songy, but, if we're just playing around why not!

I like Luma, so the second half of Petaluma appeals to me.Petaluma reminds me of two things:
- the name Lunlumo, and I doubt it has ever been used irl. What I wanna say is that Petaluma sounds quite "namey" to me.
- Palmifera¹, "palm bearer", it's not a name, a title, perhaps.
(It's from Sibylla Palmifera - a painting by Dante Gabriel Rossetti).
But I guess that it could also be used as a name.¹Actually, your combo, Petaluma Sibyll, reminded me of Sibylla Palmifera.I like how Petaluma Inez & Petaluma Ingrid look.
