I think it's unisex, I like the French pronunciation for a boy, and it's clear and bright. Just humble and chill honestly. Granted I would prefer Alexandra or Alexander, but that's just me. Either way you get Alex, which is surely unisex. It reminds me of Quackity and Alexis Ohanian.
