Despite the villinous connection, have always kind of liked Iago, Jago seems rather the discount version. Unrelated, but vaguely reminicent of Ivor which I also like.

Yeah, Iago is one of Shakespeare's most repellent villains. Not a good name. Jago might be okay. I don't know how to pronounce it.

Iago is a parrot name to me
Jago reminds me of Jagger and sounds more like a sound to me than a name

I think of Iago from Othello; horrible association to me. But, the names sound cool. They also remind me of the name Diego.

I have always liked Iago. Jago, though, sounds jagged and rough to me. Names that sound similar to Iago could be Ian or Iakob (another form of James)

They aren't really my cup of tea but they aren't bad either. Iago always makes me think of the bird from Aladdin, voiced by the late Gilbert Gottfried. Similar names: Diego, Tago/Tiago, Santiago, Mateo.
