I like this name because it's a little gruesome and gothy. But for some reason, I like the idea of putting it with a cutesy, warm, Dickens sort of name, like Phaedra Nell, Phaedra Sairey, Phaedra Molly, Phaedra Milly.... I dunno why.

Canada's first female prime minister was born Avril Phaedra, but she changed it to Kim. Hm.

Fay-dra is new to me, and seems a bit, well, faded. I've only ever heard FEYEdra or FEEdra. Not a name, a sound or a namesake I'd personally go for.

I like it, but I like the French version more - Phèdre

I really like Phaedra. It's powerful but also very feminine.
