Help[Opinions] Claudette, Claudia, Claudine
I met a woman in her 60s (at a guess) yesterday called Claudette. It got me thinking as I have had Claudia in my brownies before but it’s the first time I have met anyone called Claudette and I have yet to meet anyone called Claudine.
What do you think of the three and what middle names would you use?

I have known people with all three of these names. Quite popular in French Canada and Québec.
I'd say most woman named Claudette here are 70 or older. Claudines are propably in their 50's and Claudia is more of a millenial name. There really is a generational devide between the three.
On a personal level, Claudette sounds a bit dated to me. But Claudine and Claudia are nice. I do think Claudine sounds very lovely and feminine.

Interesting! I've never met any woman with a Claud- name. I instinctively pronounce Claudia with an -aw- , like Claud plus -ia. But both Claudette and Claudine look French to me and so in my head I hear -oh- . I like Claudine the best, then Claudia and finally Claudette. I usually don't enjoy -ette or -otte etc names.
