[Opinions] Delara/Dilara
What do you think of this name? It means “adorning the heart”. Which spelling do you prefer?

There’s a character in Game of Sultans called Dilara.

Delara was in my top 10 this month. It reminds me of Delora (but with a lighter meaning). I would only use the Dilara spelling if I for sure wanted to avoid a pronunciation closer to Della than to dill.

I really dislike dilated Dilara, so I suppose that means I prefer Delara. That's putting it a bit too strongly: it resembles an elaboration of Lara, which is pretty bland and tedious. And I'm not at all sure how one adorns a heart!

Dilara seems to me like it would be the name of a prescription laxative.

I don't really like the name but the Delara spelling is better

What a beautiful meaning! I prefer Dilara I think, there's something friendly about it. I love the idea of calling someone "Dill" or "Dillie", it's very cute. Delara is beautiful too, but it's more serious to me, and I guess I'm not in that mood today!

I like it. It has a lovely meaning. I prefer the spelling Delara - Del and Lara are cute nicknames. I wouldn’t use it in real life, but it was the name of a sister to a main character I had once.
