[Opinions] Hughard
Possibly the original for of Howard, which I found out today. I like it. It’s a cool long form of Hugh (which is great by itself) and means “brave spirit” among other similar meanings. Someone said it looks like “hug hard”…I don’t think that’s such a bad thing. What do you think of Hughard?

Care bear name. Hug…hard
Ooof, really not a fan! I'd say I actively disliked it upon sight. My brain read it as Hugh + ard... which is just unfortunate sounding, but I can't think of any pronunciation that I don't actually dislike. It's just, for me... not good.
Howard is fine. Not my favourite name ever, but it's fine. Hughard is not fine (in my opinion). Stick with Howard.

Don't like it at all
Maybe "hug hard" isn't a bad concept on its own, but I wouldn't want that to be my name.
I think it's unnecessarily complicated. Hugh has been a "legitimate" full name for centuries, and Howard is quite established too. Hughard seems like a bit of linguistic showing off.
