I’m really loving this Slavic name for a girl. It’s pronounced Dah REE nuh. What does everyone else think and what middle names would you use.

I find it unattractive, like an elaborated form of Doreen, which I dislike. Of the two spellings, I would prefer Darina.

One of my older teacher colleagues in Bulgaria was named Darina, and I adored her, so the name has a very positive association for me.

I like Darina Maude and Darina Sibyl.

I love this name! It’s so pretty, and it reminds me of falling snow. Maybe Darina Estelle. I also like Daria.
