Strictly a nickname imo. Could be a cute nickname for Iliana or Alyson.
Isley/Islie feel like tryhard version of Isla, which itself I'm already not a huge fan.

A nickname, NEVER a first name.
Cheesy meaning and to short.
I like how it sounds, but better as a nickname.
like: Rylie and Kylie.

Etymology is bad.Ie-lee is kind of alright though. It’s not too far off from Eilidh and Aylin. Maybe spell it Aylee? Nayeli also means ily.

The etymology is bad, but the name itself is, if not ok, not that terrible either? She’d get called Lily a lot.

It's not as bad as some, but it's not nearly as cute as the people who use it probably think. It's cutesy, and the fact that everyone who uses it as an acronym of I Love You probably thinks they came up with it all by themselves is lame. Plus it looks like a mistyped Lily and sound-wise, it just blends in with the Rileys and Kylies and Brileys.

I love the sound, just not the spelling. What about the other form Isley?

Oh, dear. No acronym should ever be a name.
