It is better than Seed at least. Lentil has a cute sound although I wouldn't want to be named after food. Names like Olive, Kale and Clementine aren't my cup of tea either.I like some herb based names though, but they have more of a healing/ nature symbolism quality than other things in the pantry.

I’m sorry, but it’s a hard no.

Not my fav, but I think it's fine. I mean, there's all kind of food names. I know a Kiwi, and I like Lentil better. I don't feel like it's worse than Tofu (I used to know one) or Pepper. Or Yentl or Lennox.

Why do I kind of like it??🙈i would never use it, but it’s not the worst. Little Lenny! And we have Rowan and Cassia and Bay (which only ever reminds me of bay leaves) so why not?
I may be biased here though - I love lentils lol

or else ...Someone was overly fond of the Robert McCloskey book "Lentil" about, if I remember, a boy who was a real whiz at playing the harmonica.
How dumb.

I think Lentil is super cute! Surely a nickname for Lene or something. They were messing with you maybe?I do know a girl called Lettice though.

Sibling to Chickpea and Bean? Sorry I couldn’t resist.
