What do you think of the Japanese name Sumire? It seems to only be popular in Japan in modern times though.

Sumire sounds lowkey but elegant. Since it has a floral meaning, perhaps its rise in popularity corresponds with the rise of other nature names? Names like Lily were quite popular in the US for a while, and Ivy is on the rise here.

I think Sumire is gorgeous and very elegant :)It's not all that new but I guess it's gaining more traction lately
