[Opinions] Annegret
WDYT of Annegret?

I really want to love Annegret. But "an egret" keeps coming to mind. I don't pronounce them the same way so I'm not sure why it's getting in my head so much. Good to see others are free to love it. :0)
It is a bit gritty and regretful sounding. I prefer Annelise as a mashup.
I have never heard it, but I kind of like it.
I find it childish and twee.
It's so lovely and charmingly mysterious and poetic (because of the evocation of regret).
I agree - it sounds so cool, like a character in an old poem! (I'm not so sure I'd use it on a real kid in the Anglosphere tho - as you said, it sounds a bit too much like 'regret')
I like it a lot and always have. No clue how it's currently used in Germany, but nor do I care - I just think it's beautiful.
Pretty much not at all.
It's pretty old-fashioned there.
But I also like it. Not love, but it's okay.
