Help[Opinions] Re: Have you heard the name Ninabella anywhere? If so, where?

This is the Opinions board. Whether anyone has or has not seen a name before, is a fact. What their reaction to that name was, is an opinion. There's no point in getting upset when people on the Opinions board give you an opinion: why wouldn't we?

I wasn't getting upset, I was just letting people know what the rules on this board were. Sorry if I confused you. If you'd like, I could move this to the facts board. I would actually prefer it if this were on the facts board.

Ehh, I know it's not exactly an opinion, but it's not really a fact about the name either. The Facts board would be for stuff like the origin of the name, statistics, etc. Whether or not BtN users have heard it before is something that seems to belong more on the opinions board since it's not something that could be put into a book of name facts.

Sorry, I have a habit of posting on the opinions board. I guess I thought that whether or not people had heard the name Ninabella was an opinion. If you'd like, I could move it to the fact board so people wouldn't give me any opinions. Sorry if I confused you; it's not your fault. If anything, it's mine. Is there anything I can do?

The rules of the board are that this is a board for opinions on names, not that posters must follow exactly what the OP has instructed. I think the simplest thing would be just to ignore people writing whether they like Ninabella or not.

But Ninabella is my name so it really hurts my feelings when people say that they don't like it. How would you feel if someone said that your name is stupid and bad and sounds like the name of a weird cartoon character and should not exist? (not that I personally think that, it's just something people have said on this site stuff like that about my name and it really hurts.)

I wouldn't feel bad that someone doesn't like my name, I don't particularly like it either. (I obviously like it enough that I haven't changed it, but I have a very basic 'live laugh love' kind of name so I'm not surprised or offended when people don't like it. My name isn't me.)

I’m not very attached to my name and I think there are comments that say it’s bad, including I believe one that says that it “sounds like Frankenstein.”
If you’re so sensitive to comments by random people online about your name maybe don’t post about your name? Plus you also chastised someone who said “it’s ok.”
