Today I received in the mail a birth announcement from a couple we know, who had a baby girl in April. I knew they named her Gabrielle but didn't know the mn. It is:
Gabrielle Aziza

Pretty! I'd much prefer Gabrielle Aviva, though, which I LOVE.

I really like the name! Gabrielle (Gabriele) is the name of my mother and Aziza is a cool name. :-)

Is Aziza the feminine ofrm of Aziz? I've heard the name for a man, but I've never seen it spelled so this is just a guess.

I'd have prefered Gabrielle Aviva, but I suppose Gabrielle Aziza is OK.
