[Opinions] Kaylabeth vs. Makayla
If you had to choose between Kaylabeth and Makayla for a daughter, which would you pick? Kaylabeth is probably my favorite girl name at this very second; this is susceptible to change, as always.

I prefer the sound of Kaylabeth but it looks too long and it's an awkward mashup on paper, so I'd want it to be Kayla-Beth or something like that. idk.
Makayla is too 'poppy' for me. People are saying they'd spell it Michaela and while I like Michaela, I wouldn't pronounce it exactly the same as Makayla. Makayla is more twangy because of how much the "KAY" sticks out, and how the "KAY" is a bit separate from the "LA".

Makayla, spelled Michaela, though neither is a favorite.

I'd choose Makayla. It's my daughter's middle name. These days I'd probably pick Mikayla over Makayla, but minor point.
Kayla is nice too, but Kaylabeth is just too cutesy.

MakaylaIt sounds much more mature and elegant. The spelling is in such wide usage now I would t worry about it confusing people. I've met more people named Makayla than Michaela.

Kaylabeth. I love Beth names, and I think that any name that ends with an a can have a Beth added to it. How does everyone feel about Mirabeth, Ninabeth, Isabeth, Corabeth, all that stuff?

I like Mirabeth, Corabeth, and Annabeth. Ninabeth is good too, and Norabeth. I like Isabeth but I think I'd get confused between Isabeth, Isabel, and Elisabeth. Kirabeth? Larabeth? Willabeth? Hannabeth? Ellabeth? ETA: "beth" looks more scrambled the more I look at it. It reads like a "teh" style of typo even though it's in the correct order.

Mirabeth is ok, it sounds like a name. Maybe Isabeth too to some extent due to Isabel and Isadora etc. The others really stand out as smoosh names, they don’t work imo.

Makayla, definitely, and preferably spelled Michaela. Kaylabeth is a monstrosity, it sounds like something a child would use for a toy. Why not just use Kayla with Beth as a middle name?
