[Opinions] Re: wdyt Eleonore nn Lorli (prn. lore lee)
Well, Eleonore is nice, if not really my style. (I absolutely love Elenore, Elenor, and Lenore, but most of the other forms of the name do nothing for me.)Lorli, however, is a world of trouble for me. It's hard to say--sounds like Lauralee but without one of the syllables, and I'm having trouble saying it comfortably. It looks odd--like Lorelei and Orli (and honestly, an image of that block of wood Orlando Bloom is not what I like to see when I hear a name) smooshed together. Not attractive--not to my ears, at least. And finally, the -li ending makes it feel overly-twee and trendy, like Kayleigh-Bailey-Hailie.However, if I met a Lorli, I might be persuaded to like it. :)Array
