[Opinions] Re: What do you think of the name James for a girl?
I'd assume it was her last name and that she was one of those people who gets called by their last name all the time for some reason.
If I knew it was a first name, it would seem weird but I'd assume there was some special meaning behind it, like maybe she was the only child of a person who really wanted to make sure their kid was named after their grandfather, or something like that. I've seen Jayma and Jama (looks like 'jam' but pronounced like jay-ma) on girls, so the best I can think of is James as a nickname for one of those names like Jules for Juliet. But James as a full name is all boy to me. (Another one of those boy names where I'd describe the sound and style as "feminine", but that doesn't mean it would work on a girl.)
