[Opinions] Re: What do you think of the name James for a girl?
in reply to a message by Barbie
I'd assume it was her last name and that she was one of those people who gets called by their last name all the time for some reason.
If I knew it was a first name, it would seem weird but I'd assume there was some special meaning behind it, like maybe she was the only child of a person who really wanted to make sure their kid was named after their grandfather, or something like that.
I've seen Jayma and Jama (looks like 'jam' but pronounced like jay-ma) on girls, so the best I can think of is James as a nickname for one of those names like Jules for Juliet. But James as a full name is all boy to me. (Another one of those boy names where I'd describe the sound and style as "feminine", but that doesn't mean it would work on a girl.)
