I love Dawn and would actually not mind using it or having it for my name. Dawn Marie? Dawn Maria? Dawn Michelle? Dawn Alexis? Dawn Valerie?
Penelope has always sounded like a Muppet's name to me. It just sounds silly and comical.
Marietta is a bossy, fussy, overly-decorated faded southern belle of a name.
