I love this name and all of the nick names you suggested!

I love both. Very cute name. Lulu with loved ones and for when she's younger. Elle when she's older and wants a less cutesy nickname.

Prefer Lou.
And Luella over Louella.

I dislike Elle, Ella, Emma, Etta ... once I knew an elderly lady whose only given name was Lulu. She seemed happy enough, but I didn't find it suitable at all. My niece Louanne is always known as Lou, which I like, perhaps because I like her! I'd gladly use Lucy as a fn, and I don't think it needs or would get a nn.

I like it, but I don’t like those nicknames. Can’t decide whether I prefer Louella or Luella!
