I don't care for this spelling since the Jaycees are a service organization here in the US. I do like the sound well enough and prefer the spellings Jacey, Jaci or Jacy. My favorite author is Larry McMurtry in one of his book series has a main character named Jacy. She isn't very nice in the first one but gets some better in the next ... and is dead by the third.

I think it can also be a nn, for Jessica, Jacqueline or Jocelyn, or any combo of names beginning with j and c.
