[Opinions] Alexandra
No words to describe how much I'm obsessed with this name. You can never go wrong with it. It's elegant, strong, beautiful, classic, regal...etc ♥️

I like Alexandra and Alexandria. I guess I prefer them as middle names though, because I think Alex, Allie, Lexie, etc. are boring. It only has that regal vibe when there's no nickname.
I love it, too. I also love Alex, but I'm not sure if that's popular on BtN or not.
I like it, but would only use it as a mn because I think it would have more impact there than as a first name.
I love Alexandra. I like Alexandria a little better, but like all similar forms of the name Alexandrea, Alexandrite, Alessandra, Alejandra, etc. I agree with how you described it and love that there are so many nickname choices: Alex, Lexi, Lex, Ali/Aly/Ally/Allie, Lexa, Alexa, Xan, Xandra, Sandra, Sandy, Andi/Andy, Andrea/Andria, Drea, Dria, and Ann.

I'm a fan of Alexandra as well - much more than the masculine counterpart, Alexander. Probably because I've met so many Alexanders in my life, nearly all going by Alex (with a couple Xanders who are much younger, that seems to be the trendier nickname now). I've met so many people named Alex in general, though most girls called Alex had the full name Alexis in my experience.
The prevalence of Alex as a nickname is the only thing that would put me off using Alexandra in real life. I'd try to push for a different nickname (since it is 4 syllables), like Xana. Not Sandra or Sandy, though.
Alexandra is fun to find in the middle, as well.

It’s always sounded kind of tawdry to me. “Lex” is a very ugly sound/element.
I prefer Xanthe and don’t mind Alix.

I don't like the rhythm. And Alexander has been so popular for so long that Alexandra, through no fault of its own, feels overused and trite. It is genuinely beautiful all right, but I'd only use or recommend it as a mn.
