I'm Spanish, and I didn't know it existed as a given name until I first went on Behind the Name, around early 2019. I've only seen it as a surname and as a common word. I've never heard of the beer brand before the outbreak either.
I was surprised to know this was a name, but the reaction wasn't negative, however I didn't like it enough to be used. Now it's going to be doomed for a couple of decades.
