Josh is dumb, Jonathan and David are common but good. Also 2 J's and one D doesn't work for me.
I'd 'fix' the triplets by switching Josh with any common, 'respectable' but unremarkable name with no particular age that doesn't start with J or D:
Adam, Alexander, Mark, Nicholas, Benjamin, Colin, William, Charles, Lucas, Frederick, Simon, Silas, Anthony, Oliver, Michael, Milo, Felix, Ethan, Gavin, Victor, Edward, Roderick, Thomas, Theodore, Bennett, Harry, Kent, Noah, Peter...

Boring
Joshua is better. I also think it would be better if they all started with J or better yet, each started with another letter.
Josh is the odd name out. Another biblical name, as long as it wasn't too unusual, would have worked better. Not a J name, so not even Joshua; not a D name, so not Daniel. Michael would work for me: another good, mainstream name with pleasant nns if necessary. I've never found Jonathan very appealing, a bit flabby in fact, but it's OK, and David is my son's mn, so that's fine too.
Joshua is preferable, but dont really see anything wrong with the set. Don't really understand obsessions with initials, these are handsome names.
