I LOVE Della. Selma is good, too. Sellah sounds like Cell-a (like a prison cell). Zelma's just... weird.
Della is elegant but short, perfectly abd swiftly made in its 5 letters, it's simply a delight to write and say...
Not to sound like a creep.

Selah is pronounced SEEL-uh rather than CELL-uh

My favorites are Zelma and Selma, followed by Selah (I prefer Sela) and Della.

Selah to me was my Great Aunt Alta's favorite pig growing up so I can never seperate the name from the pig. Selma is always associated with Selma Blair so it's pretty but not my style. Zelma just looks and sounds like someone was trying to be clever with Selma. I'm not on board with it. I'd prefer Zelda as a similar name.Della is pretty but as someone who worked at Disney, I associate it with Della Duck (Donald's mother/sister in some older cartoons and in the newer Ducktales)
In favorite order: 1. Della
2. Selma
3. Zelma
4. Selah

Selah doesn't sound good or look good to me.
Selma is just OK; the only Selma I've met was very elderly and German, living in South Africa.
Zelma - perhaps an attempt to make Selma more modern by using a trendy Z. I really dislike the sound.
Della makes me think of Della Rees; not a bad thing, but a name meaning Of The or From The doesn't appeal to me.Instead of Selah, I'd use Sally any day.
I prefer Thelma to Selma.
I prefer Delia to Della.Sorry: no favourite!

Don't really like any, maybe Della at a pinch

My favorite is definitely Selah. I'm a big fan of the pronunciation - I think it's very feminine and beautiful. If I were to use this name I would probably use a different spelling like Seela or Sela.
