[Opinions] Re: Rate my names part 4
JMPO Yves - in English, 2/10 because it sounds just like Eve
Tavish - seems a little bit twee. 3
Rhona - doesn't appeal to me and reminds of "the 'rona" ... 3
Juliet - I like Julia more, Juliet's a little prissy and shakespeary, but a good name 6
Paisley - eh, a little boring and fluffy/trendy style. 4
Vito - neat, however not easy for me to say in my accent (comes out like Vido). 5
Hazel - I don't like the sound of it, good name for a cat. 5
Sky - strikes me as sort of appealing, prefer Skye. 6
Brooke - I'm used to it and kinda like it, as a gal name. 6 for f, 3 for m
River - I like it, but also feel like it has a certain hollywoody vibe. 7
Holly - pretty solid and appealing, somehow didn't get too dated. 8
Ivy - don't like this plant image or "i.v." sound but it's decent. 5
Nancy - don't like sound or datedness, makes me think of someone I don't like. 4
Polly - cute, seems a tad self-conscious / twee. 5
Penny - like Polly only less synthetic, I kinda like. 6
Kitty - nickname only, for someone who likes being called it. As a full given name, 4.
Thora - "so hip" vibe, not unappealing 6
Bud - similar to Kitty. as a full given name, 4
Myrtle - ugly and I find it irritating. 2
Clyde - like Thora, dorkier. 5
Jessie - like Holly, nice, but nicknamey. 6
Angie - good nickname, I like it, I want a full name though. As a full given name, 5
Fern - better than Hazel or Ivy, but still not very attractive to me. 5.5
Valentino - it's pretty good, I'm wary of nn Tino which I hate. 6
Olive - "so hip." I like it pretty well 8
Chandler - TV name getting passe and boring, and I don't care for surnamey preppy sounding quality 3
Anabel - nice name, prefer with another N in it, so it's An- instead of Ahn-. 6 (would rate Annabel 8)
Alonso - not my style, decent name. 6- mirfak
