I work with a lot of people who are 70+. I really like Eileen (Ei-leen) and Aileen (Ay-leen). Both are pretty. I am another who appreciates the darkness of Maureen as well, but I am yet to meet someone with that name. Maureen is probably my favourite. If we're talking sound and not spelling, my favourite is Selene.

With the sound, I like Irene, Abilene, Selene. With the spelling, Doreen.

I've started to really appreciate these names. They are fun and down to earth in a smart, snappy way. I love Francine most, I think. I also enjoy Capucine, Irene, Maxine, Marceline, Eileen, Eglantine, Noreen, Selene or Celine, Lurlene, Evangeline, Jolene, Mélusine, Amandine, Célestine, Delphine, Ernestine, Jeannine.... Ok quite a few actually, haha.I also knew a Clementine that was an "een" because she was french. "CLAY-mon-teen".

I like Maureen, Noreen, and Doreen, with the “een” ending spelled out. However, I definitely prefer Estellene, Charlene, Marlene, Darlene, Norene, Dorene, and Lorene.

Maureen. I posted about it years ago and people saw it as 'dark,' I'm guessing because it's connected to film noir? Not sure, but I love it. It's a gorgeous, sexy name.

I like it too. It’s a very sexy and navy blue.

The only one I can view with any enthusiasm is Justine.
