[Opinions] Agathon
Opinions on Agathon as a contemporary male name, perhaps to commemorate a female relative named Agatha? I came across the name while studying something about Socrates.

I’d say it’s more common where I live, but it’s still unusual and I don’t think I’ve ever met one. It’s typically spelled Agaton though and I prefer that spelling as well

Don't like it at all

It sounds like a type of foot race. “Sorry, can’t make it to the meeting that day. I have my Agathon.”

As a contemporary name for an actual person? No. I don't like it and I think it's way too similar to Agatha which I also wouldn't use. It sounds like a name someone would use for a fictional character.
