I love all of the female names—my favorites are Ethel, Alma, and Freda.Of the boys, I like Clifford, Roscoe, Virgil, and Harold.

the male names aged pretty well.out of the ladies, I think only Edna and Reta seem old.

I always find Roscoe interesting, and I’ve never seen the Rae spelling on a boy but I find it refreshing. I love Alma, and Mabel is also quite nice :)

I like John and William; Ruth, Mabel and Harriet.Rae surprises me twice: as a male name and for existing in the late 19th, early 20th centuries.
Two Erma people and an Alma, plus Freda, Reta, Edna and Lena. Neat and tidy, emphatically feminine, all gone now.
