[Opinions] Yvette
This is the front desk person from my hair dresser. I like the name and would like being named this. She's in her 40s.

I really enjoy both Yvette and Yvonne (which are both feminine forms of the same French masculine name, Yves). Usually, I prefer Yvonne, though I think Yvette is a bit more familiar / practical.

I'm not sure where you're located, but a 40something Yvette is certainly rare in my part of the world! Yvette is more of a "grandma" or baby boomer name to me. I like Yvette too. Yvonne is sombre and glamorous, while Yvette is snappy and chic.
