[Opinions] Patrice wdyt?
I asked a question because compared to Patricia, it seemed like it wasn't mentioned as often in real life.

For me, I can never use it. It's completely ruined for me from a girl I went to school with. She was the captain of an Elite African American only step/drill team outside of school and let everyone know she was the Queen Bee. She was a bully and a true Regina George. She even got banned from the Girl Scouts in my area growing up because of her entitlement. I've never really heard anyone else with that name so that association stuck.

A friend of mine at uni was Patricia but we always called her Patrice: no idea why, there wasn't a French connection anywhere, and now (I think - we've lost touch) she goes by Patricia again. We just wanted a nn for her that wasn't Pat or Trish!

It's still pretty but it reminds me of "practice" in my opinion. I prefer Patricia though.

I don't like the "trice" part in the name. Patricia is preferred, although I'm not big on that one either.

It has a pretty sound to it, "Pah-treese," but I much prefer Patricia.
