It just looks and sounds wrong to me.

The chances are good that most or all of the Patricas who made it onto the popularity lists were really Patricia, and the data was botched when it was entered into the system. There are a lot of examples of stuff like that happening in the earlier days; it's why you see the "name" Brain on many lists, when it's really just Brian mistyped/misritten.

I don't think Patrica is truly awful, but it really looks like a typo even when it isn't one. I thought your message was really going to be about Patricia. (Which I like.)
