[Opinions] Jeanne

I like the French version.
"JEEN" is annoying for Jean, and both annoying and awkward for Jeanne (it seems like an English pronunciation of Jeanne should end with "Anne")

Jean, that spelling, is a family name twice over: I like it and would consider it as a mn.
Jeanne is just plain silly when pronounced like Jean.

As a native French speaker, I'll go for the French pronunciation. ;) It feels very classic and timeless.
JEEN seems more associated with a certain generation. I wouldn't use it for a younger child.

It's pretty to write out, but I personally prefer the name Gina instead.
Not really a fan. I like the -een sound on the end of names, but not as a name on its own, if that makes sense.
I knew someone who pronounced it JEEN-ne.
She wasn’t very nice to me and that turned me off the name. But it’s cute.

I think I love Jeanne. Its so romantic. I actually feel the French pronunciation is a bit awkward and rather enjoy the nasal "Jeen". It's endearing and makes me think of a 1930s heroine. I've also heard people pronounce Jeanne like "genie".
Jeanne is the name of the maternal ancestor I can trace back the farthest - my mother's mother's mother's mother. So I have a sentimental attachment to it.

From my experience, the French version feels like it's not easy to pronounced for most English-speakers. It's often close to the French pronounciation, but just a bit off. Maybe that is why it feels akward or not really well said.
That's definitely it, I know I'm not saying it properly, so it always sounds a bit off!
Goooorgeous in French. Annoyingly flat and boring in English.
No issues. It's a family name on both sides for me, both Jean and Jeanne spellings but all pronounced with the English option.
It's effortlessly elegant. I love it!
Don't really like it
