What do you think of Luigia (three syllables, not four), a starchy, baroque alternative to Louisa/Luisa? I'm quite taken with it and wonder if it's considered an old-lady name in Italy.

As an Italian I don’t see how Luigia is baroque, it feels very dowdy. It’s indeed considered old-ladyish, Luisa is more timeless.

It'd be interesting to see used more often, but it reminds me of Edvige, and I feel like that's more fun.

The combos that are standing out to me are Caroline, Minerva, Cybele. Luigia Minerva is probably my fav.

I'm sorry, I know Luigia (three syllables) is a traditional Italian name, but to me, it sounds too much like Ouija Board for me to form any constructive opinion on combos.

Huh, I never thought about that; it does sound very similar to "Ouija". That makes it interesting.

I like the four syllable version, but not the three letter one. I think it’s the repeating “ee” sound that I like, similar to Cecilia.
